Project Overview:

Following the creation of a Joint Venture company by Exxon Mobil and Qatar Gas, Excellence in Business was asked to provide business start-up support, initially in London and subsequently in Milford Haven.  The project involved designing, developing and implementing an integrated management system to address quality, health & safety and environmental management.

The project was subsequently expanded to include developing the company's planning and performance management processes; implementing their approach to balanced business scorecard; designing key business processes; implementing process mapping within a Microsoft SharePoint environment, utilising InfoPath forms; supporting recruitment; and developing the company's employee survey.

Over the 14 months we led a number of development teams involving employees, secondees and key members of the supply chain.  The focus of the project was to ensure that the company was in a position to commission the terminal in June 2008 and receive shipments by the autumn.
