Project Overview:
URS is a leading global supplier of multidisciplinary environmental and engineering consulting services. In the UK the business deliver a wide range of technical engineering and consultancy services from a network of offices throughout the country.
We were approached to support URS in developing a winning a tender to secure a place on the Highways Agency Framework Agreement. The opportunity was a significant one and a challenge for the business has they had not been incumbent on the existing framework for similar services. We worked closely with the bid director and his team to develop a winning strategy. This was based around a route map for the framework agreement and we adopted a unique approach to signposting the client to the evidence, case studies and best practice content within the bid.
Our approach to bid development assisted URS in making the transition from highly verbose submissions focusing on task and activity to focused documents detailing key outcomes and the impact of the approaches described.
