Project Overview:

Worcestershire County Council was the responsible authority for the development of the Local Area Agreement (LAA).  Colin Savage, EiB Associate Consultant, was appointed the Programme Manager with just 5 months remaining to submit final proposals to GO-WM.

Project Outcomes/Impact:

1. The County Council and partners submitted the LAA on time to a quality agreed with GO-WM. This included agreed county-wide outcomes and funding arrangements with the desired level of reward grant;
2. The area collaboration involved in producing the LAA resulted in joined-up working and more improved and efficient resourcing, helping to create a clear focus for Worcestershire
