Nichola has over 20 years experience as an Organisational Development Consultant and Learning & Development Manager and a strong background in public sector people development and change management. Her experience includes 7 years as a Learning & Development Manager in local government . She has a breadth of experience in business and people development consultancy and has achieved excellent results in facilitation and development work with individuals and teams at all levels, including Chief Officers and Elected Members.
As an OD Consultant Nichola has designed and delivered change programmes and key policies and strategies including Leadership Development and Project and Programme Management. She has worked on the delivery of OD Strategy and cultural change programmes in large complex organisations, including the design of performance management systems, strategies for staff engagement and management competency frameworks. Nichola also has considerable experience of design and delivery of management development programmes including implementation of a successful 360 degree feedback process and development menu for 100 senior managers and the introduction of a performance coaching skills programme.
Nichola has a comprehensive knowledge and many years experience of Organisational Development and People Development practice and techniques, gained through extensive practice and a Masters in People & Organisational Development. She is also a fully qualified Executive Coach and has achieved excellent results in performance and career coaching with senior managers in the private and public sector.
Nichola’s work has also included taking a lead role in the launch and development of a number of partnership and capacity building projects including an award winning cross-organisational executive coaching pool and a regional consortium for local authority learning and development provision.
When she is not working, Nichola enjoys volunteering as a Business Enterprise Facilitator with Worcestershire Business Education Partnership, using her highly developed interpersonal skills to work with young people in local schools, including coaching individuals and facilitating group activities. As Learning & Development Adviser for Hereford & Worcester Branch of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development, Nichola plays a key role in the professional development of people development practitioners in her local area.
