Making the most of Competitive Dialogue

Course Aims

To provide delegates with an introduction to and the process involved in setting up and managing a Competitive Dialogue procurement exercise.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of the workshop delegates will be able to:

  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of the current thinking on the Competitive Dialogue procedure;
  • Appreciate the best practice examples currently available from OGC and other high profile procurement exercises;
  • Establish a Competitive Dialogue project and manage the process on behalf of their organisation;
  • Clearly understand the critical success factors associated with each stage of the process in order to ensure they get the most benefit from following this procedure;
  • Understand how to facilitate the process and at which points external facilitation will add the most value.
