Course Aims

To explore the increasing trend to move from pure financial selection procedures and contract management to a more partnership based approach.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of the workshop delegates will have an understanding of:

  • The barriers to effective partnering and how we have evolved since compulsory competitive tendering;
  • How to develop their people and teams to better support partnership relationships and get more from suppliers and providers as a result;
  • The EiB Partnering model and roadmap to effective partnerships between the public and private sector;
  • The key actions necessary to develop their own approach at a local level and how to introduce the best practice examples explored to their contractual relationship management model.
