Course Aims:
To provide delegates with the key skills and knowledge to be able to effectively manage projects within timescales and budgets.
Learning Outcomes:
At the end of the workshop, delegates will have an understanding of:
- The key principles of effective Project Management;
- The Project 'life cycle' and the key stages to effective Project Management;
- Commissioning projects, including developing a Business Case;
- Project initiation;
- The importance of project planning, controls, risk and quality management;
- The role of the project board and project sponsor;
- The role of the project manager and team;
- The knowledge and skills needed to improve their ability to effectively manage or contribute to projects.
