Course Aims:

To provide delegates with the ability to identify and deliver efficiency savings.

• The impact of the 2007 Local Government Bill/Act on value for money and best value issues and developments through 2008;
• How to identify opportunities for efficiency savings through Procurement & partnership; Sharing services; Delivering efficiency improvements; and Improving productivity and performance;
• How to achieve better value for money through process review and bringing back office resources into front line services.
